Alison Doody

Alison Doody was born in Dublin, Ireland on November 11, 1966. She is a model and an Irish actor. Her feature film debut was a tiny part on The James Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). Then, later she played the Nazi-sympathising archaeologist Elsa Schneider (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade 1989). Siobhan Donavan played the role featured in A Prayer for the Dying in 1987. Charlotte appeared in Taffin (in 1998) as well as Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. Doody was asked by a photographer to model and began to perform the role of a model. She then developed her career as a commercial model. Doody was very strict about not doing glamour or nude work. The same rule continued into Doody's acting work. Doody was offered a tiny role in the film Jenny Flex for 1985's A View to a Kill following the fact that her name was picked by the director who cast her. The Storyteller episode from 1988 featured her in the lead role in the film Sapsorrow, alongside John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. The actress acted alongside Pierce Brosnan in the film Taffin (1988) prior to taking probably her most high-profile part to date as Austrian Nazi-sympathiser as well as archaeologist Dr. Elsa Schneider in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade playing opposite Harrison Ford. Doody is a member of the James Bond family, having acted along with Sean Connery and Jonathan Pryce in the film Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade. Doody was a part of Jonathan Pryce as Hitler Diaries the British mini-series based on Hitler Diaries. When she moved to Hollywood, Doody became famous. The decision was made to replace Cybill Shepard as L'Oreal spokeswoman. She continued to play opposite Charlie Sheen as Flannery, his wife and agent as Flannery's girlfriend and agent in Major League II. Doody played a role in the 2004 British comedy The Actors. Michael Caine portrayed her at a ceremony for an award. in 2004, Doody was in the film with Patrick Swayze alongside a TV adaptation of King Solomon's Mines. Also Doody appeared in Benjamin's Struggle (2005), a pamphlet describing the Holocaust. In 2010, Doody was a character of Danny Dyer's movie The Rapture (2010). The Clinic, a medical drama on RTE. The Asphyx was the 2011 version of her film. The year 2011 saw her debut on the first season of two on E4 comedy show Beaver Falls playing Pam Jefferson.
