Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix was an Los Angeles native born on the 18th November 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordained minister in Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix was an athletically inclined child and developed a passion of sprinting while during her time at Los Angeles Baptist High School. After a few weeks of the first time she tried out the sport, she finished 2nd in the 200m race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix has graduated from high school in 2003, signed the sports contract with Adidas. She then was accepted into at the University of Southern California and studied elementary education. Felix was presented with her first Olympic award at 2004's Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200 meters in 22.18s, setting a new junior world record. She was the world's youngest champion in 200 meters at the Helsinki World Championships. She defended this title in 2007, defeating her former Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix competed in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and was consistently within the top three athletes in each of her events.
